Architerra Design/Build is a custom homebuilding company run by Jeff McCulloch and Leila Lemieux that has been specializing in Calgary inner city redevelopment for the past 30 years.
Over the years, Architerra has established long term business relationships with all its trade partners and suppliers. This track record has ensured that each aspect of the building process is done with people of like-minded integrity resulting in a quality home you can be proud of.
Jeff’s personal history in homebuilding extends back 40 years to a background in carpentry and cabinet making. As his resume reflects, this experience grew to include an education in architecture and practical experience in construction management positions. Currently, Architerra builds only a select number of homes per year, allowing for a personalized devotion to each project. Jeff focuses on a well-designed floor plan that reflects how people actually live in their personal space. He particularly enjoys designing custom cabinetry and architectural millwork that is above and beyond expectation.
Architerra brings to the custom home process extensive experience in one on one service with clients. Many clients have appreciated that Jeff and Leila are able to take them through the entire process of conceptualization, space planning and interior choices with continuity.
Architerra’s extensive experience allows us to excel at ascertaining what design requirements are necessary to fit our clients’ lifestyles. Leila Lemieux
In addition to being Jeff’s life partner, Leila is the part of the Architerra team that is responsible for the interior design work. If you visit one of our spec homes, you are seeing her vision of a warm, inviting place to call home. As she is involved from the beginning of the project, this is reflected in many of the design elements as well as all the interior finishings. If you are building your custom dream home with Architerra, she is available for consultation for any or all of the many, many choices needed to bring to life your personal vision. She specializes in making today’s trends obtainable with a budget-conscious approach.
She is a graduate of Mount Royal University’s Interior Decorating program as well as having a background in real estate sales.
