The Process behind Architerra
1. Land Acquisition
Architerra will build on your land or work in conjunction with the Ramage Group to secure the perfect lot for your new home. As well, creating your dream home from your current home with a personalized renovation is a great option!
2. Preliminary Design/Budget
Architerra will create conceptual sketches for your new home based on lifestyle and wish lists. Within a short period of time these sketches will be refined until the perfect floor plans and exterior is achieved. Cost is kept in mind all throughout the design process so that the final numbers stay within the project budget.
3. Development Permit Application
DP drawings can them be produced and the submitted to The City of Calgary. Architerra will oversee the process and give regular updates as the process unfolds.
Upon receipt of the Development Permit from The City of Calgary, final working drawings with exacting specifications will be prepared and reviewed so everyone is clear on what will be included in the final pricing.
Upon finalization and completion of the contract, construction will commence following a predetermined schedule. Regularly schedule site meetings with the architect and interior designer will be done to answer any questions and concerns as the building process proceeds. Leila is available to accompany you to any and all meetings for interior finishing choices to ensure a cohesive look and feel to your new home.
As the construction process nears completion, a pre-occupancy meeting and walk thru can take place with you to ensure all details are finalized and correct before possession.
